The Cabo San Lucas Toreros picked up a win at Field de Los Layendas, knocking off the Jersey Jesters, 5-4. Starting pitcher Bruce Lowe, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The 5th-place Jesters have lost 5 consecutive games.

Cabo San Lucas took the lead in the bottom of the eighth. With two out and a runner on 2nd, Victor Rocher stroked a run-scoring single to make it 5-4, Toreros.

"I felt good up there," said Rocher. "I saw the ball well."
