Cabo San Lucas right fielder Mokichi Kono had a 4-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Jersey Jesters, 7-5. The save went to Mulia Kathirithamby, his 19th this season.

Late in the game, first baseman Tim Buck had a big at-bat for Cabo San Lucas. In the bottom of the eighth, he hit a run-scoring single off Tom Owens. The play gave the Toreros a 3-2 lead.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Buck.
