The Minnesota Berserkers got a superb performance from pitcher Manuel Crespo, but the Brooklyn Black Knights still won the game, 7-6. Crespo was named the player of the game despite the loss. He threw 7 innings of 6-hit ball. The Berserkers, at 47-62, have lost 5 straight games.

Joe Watson provided some late-game heroics for Brooklyn. In the bottom of the 13th inning, he hit a run-scoring single. It came on a 1-0 fastball from Kitahachi Gato and propelled Brooklyn to a 7-6 lead.
