|
Quebec starter Jeff Kimball put a stranglehold on the Omaha offense. The left-hander had complete command of his cutter in leading the Armada to a 7-0 win. Kimball went 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 3, and struck out 3. His record improves to 7-10. Quebec is now 51-57.
Going deep for Quebec was Jeffrey Henderson. The center fielder had a 2-run home run in the bottom of the first for the Armada. It put his team ahead, 2-0, and sent them on to victory. For the game, Henderson was 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Quebec Armada manager Neal Jackson.
