The Seattle Sasquatch had no problem beating the San Diego Hops, 11-1, at Sick's Stadium. James Anderson led the way. He went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs and drove in 5 for Seattle. Seattle now owns a record of 52-55.

With Seattle trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Anderson hit a fastball from Juan Vázquez for a 2-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Sasquatch ahead, 2-1.

"You can't sugarcoat this one," said San Diego manager Randy England. "We got flat-out beat."
