Tamura Fires Shutout in Republic Win
|
The So Cal Republic took an easy score 5-0 win over the South Carolina Bombers at Bomber Ballpark today. Leading the way to victory was starter Masafumi Tamura, who shackled the South Carolina Bombers and held them scoreless on a 3-hitter.
"This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Tamura said in his postgame press conference.
Thus far this season, Tamura has worked 157 innings with 157 strikeouts en route to a 14-7 record and a 4.01 ERA.
