Prowlers Jolt Marauders with Late Rally

The Oklahoma City Prowlers and Maple Marauders played an exciting game at Legends Park.
The Oklahoma City Prowlers stymied the Maple Marauders, 4-2, at Legends Park. José Soto, who had a good day at the plate, was named player of the game. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs for Oklahoma City. Oklahoma City reliever Tadaaki Tahara got the win, raising his record to 1-1. Adrien Clément was tagged with the loss.
Runs were few and far between in this one. So, Donald Buchanan's at-bat with one out in the top of the ninth was crucial. The Oklahoma City pinch hitter drew a walk, driving in 1 run, to give his team a 3-2 lead.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Soto.
The loss drops Maple to 4-6.
