Armada Lose to Titans, 14-6
|
The Quebec Armada and Omaha Titans were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd at Lucky 7 Ballpark.
José Vargas helped his team muscle past the Quebec Armada, 14-6. In the game, the Omaha left fielder was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The win puts the Titans at 35-69, while the Armada drop to 50-57.
Vargas in the top of the second had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 2nd and the Titans leading 3-0, he hit a 3-run home run.
"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Vargas told a Omaha Bulletin reporter. "Sometimes we need just to relax."
