|
The Seattle Sasquatch clobbered the San Diego Hops, 12-2, at Sick's Stadium today. Seattle catcher Kuma Ichihara was named player of the game for his productive day. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice. Dan Lewis was the winning pitcher. Over 5 innings, he allowed 1 run on 3 hits, with no walks and 3 strikeouts. San Diego has now lost 4 straight.
Ichihara had a key at-bat for Seattle early in the game. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and gave Seattle an early 4-1 lead.
