The Eureka Hornets stymied the Mile High Mustangs, 7-2, at McNichols Stadium. Luis Galindo, who had a good day at the plate, was named player of the game. He went 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for Eureka. The win leaves Eureka with a record of 6-5.

Mateo Rivera helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a solo home run to give Eureka a 1-0 lead.
