The Duke City Danger knocked off the Brooklyn Black Knights, 8-2. Duke City starter Ross Allan pitched well enough to earn top player honors. Allan went the distance for Duke City. He gave up 2 runs on 7 hits. The second-place Danger raised their record to 59-46.

Nakamaro Sato took Jan Shirazi deep in the bottom of the sixth. His 3-run home run put the Danger in front, 4-1. For the game, Sato was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Sato.
