Sasquatch Lose Again, 7-3
|
The Minnesota Berserkers stopped the Seattle Sasquatch, 7-3, at Sick's Stadium. The Berserkers got a big game from Ramiro Chávez, who went 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. José Ochoa closed the game out for Minnesota, earning his 3rd save. The 5th-place Sasquatch have lost 7 consecutive games.
Minnesota grabbed the momentum in the top of the sixth, when Chávez hit a 2-run single. His 71st hit of the season put the Berserkers out in front, 4-2.
"Everyone's kind of edgy right now," said losing manager Carl Best, "but nothing a couple of wins wouldn't cure."
