Republic Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Texans
The So Cal Republic topped the Dallas Texans, 7-5, with center fielder Shadi bin Mufeed playing a big role. bin Mufeed went 2-2 with 2 singles and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs for the Republic in the win. The losses continue to add up for Dallas, which has now fallen 9 times in a row.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the eighth, with the game tied, Luis Hernández was at the plate when So Cal scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Republic to go in front, 6-5.

"This losing is getting old," said Dallas manager Caleb Haley.
