The rain could not keep the Central Park Downtown Stadium crowd from enjoying a good ballgame.

Getting a good performance from second baseman Joaquín Rodríguez, the Minnesota Berserkers defeated the Columbus Codebreakers, 7-6. Rodríguez went 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 3 times for the Berserkers. Minnesota is 6th in the Roberto Clemente League William Atteberry Division with a record of 44-57.

Minnesota took a 6-5 lead on Rodríguez's 132nd hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which he hit off Pat Ashe in the top of the sixth, propelled Minnesota to the win.
