Loss Extends Oklahoma City Losing Streak
Mustangs first baseman Marshall Dempsey put his stamp on his team's 8-4 win over the Oklahoma City Prowlers. Dempsey went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2 for Mile High in the contest. Ken Heida, the winner, improved to 4-2. He held Oklahoma City to 4 runs on 6 hits over 8.1 innings, while racking up 6 strikeouts. The Prowlers have now dropped 7 straight.

The fans who came in support of the Mustangs were pleased with the outcome. It was what they had hoped for when they passed through the turnstiles at Memorial Circle Park.
