Codebreakers Walk Off with Win
|
In a tight contest at Central Park Downtown Stadium, the Columbus Codebreakers edged the Minnesota Berserkers by the score of 6-5. Columbus left fielder Toby Chave, who blasted 1 home run, was named the player of the game. Minnesota, at 43-56, has lost 4 straight.
The clutch at-bat in the bottom of the ninth belonged to Chave. Facing Ti-an Dan with runners on 1st and 2nd, the Columbus left fielder had a run-scoring single. Game over, walk-off style!
