Sandip, Stogies Beat Titans, 6-1

The umbrellas came out during the Havana-Omaha contest at Titans Park.
The Havana Stogies topped the Omaha Titans, 6-1, with center fielder Gulloo Sandip playing a big role. Sandip was 4-4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Stogies in the win. Abdul Razzaq Kharoti earned the save for Havana, his 10th of the year.
Havana grabbed the momentum in the top of the sixth, when Sandip, who is tied for 4th in the RCL with a .932 OPS, hit a run-scoring double. His 13th double of the season put the Stogies out in front, 2-1.
"I like our moxie," said Havana Stogies manager Reynaldo Vázquez.
Havana is now 59-40.
