Manhattan Beach designated hitter Bagaskoro Pakpahan was instrumental in his team's 5-3 win over the Las Vegas Gamblers. Pakpahan went 3-3 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Patriots. Earning his 27th save of the year was Joachim Doucet. The Patriots move to 51-47 with the win, while the Gamblers drop to 52-46.

In the bottom of the 4th, the Patriots grabbed the lead when Mal Rivers rapped a two-out home run. Manhattan Beach was trailing 3-1, when Rivers hit a 3-run home run off Allen Cox to put his team in front, 4-3.

"Winning is not something we take for granted," Pakpahan said.
