Hament Delivers Walk-Off Win for Jacks
|
The Jacksonville Jacks sent the home crowd home smiling from Skellington Stadium.
The Jacksonville Jacks defeated the Mile High Mustangs, 7-6, in 12 innings. Kelsey Sherrill led the way, going 3-for-5 for Jacksonville. The 'W' lifts Jacksonville's record to 48-49.
The game came to an abrupt end with two out in the bottom of the 12th. On a pitch from Emerson Webber, Kumar Hament hit a walk-off run-scoring double. It gave Jacksonville the 7-6 walk-off win.
"This place was rocking at the end," Sherrill said.
