Hill Leads So Cal Past New York
|
So Cal Republic starter Rick Hill had all his pitches working at House of the Republic. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 8-1 So Cal win over the New York Mafia. The Mafia have now dropped 5 straight.
It was a masterful performance from the popular Hill, who notched 10 strikeouts in 8.1 innings while allowing 5 hits. Hill, who is tied for 7th in the RCL with a 9.2 K/9 rate, goes to 8-4 on the year with 121 strikeouts.
"Glad to see the fans get into it," said Hill.
