Marauders Take Nail-Biter Over Jacks
|
In a tight contest at Legends Park, the Maple Marauders edged the Jacksonville Jacks by the score of 8-7. Maple center fielder Oscar Hunt, who blasted 1 home run, was named the player of the game. The second-place Marauders have won 6 straight.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 11th. With one out, Hunt hit a fastball from Hariz Sahir for a solo home run. The Marauders, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"Great to get the crowd on its feet," Hunt said.
