Black Knights Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Titans

Brooklyn and Omaha took Mother Nature's best shot and still managed to complete their ballgame.
Brooklyn rode a fine outing from starter Rod Larcombe to victory over the Omaha Titans at Blue Ivy Stadium. The final score was 5-1. Brooklyn is now 48-48, Omaha 29-63.
With runs few and far between, the Black Knights had to seize their opportunities when they came. One of the most important chances for Brooklyn came in the bottom of the third inning, when center fielder Kata Nishikawa delivered a 2-run double. The double was hit off Hen-to Zhou and made the score 2-0, Black Knights. Nishikawa went 2-3 with a double. He drove in 2 runs.
"I had pretty much everything working," said Larcombe.
