Mile High beat Portland on the strength of starter Drstasara Sahni's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 4-2 win. The Mustangs raised their record to 37-56.

Mile High took advantage of an error in the bottom of the fifth inning. The game was tied, 1-1, when Félix Herrera hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put Mile High in front, 3-1.

"I found a nice groove out there," said Sahni.
