The Maple Marauders defeated the Jacksonville Jacks, 11-5, in Thurman Munson League action at Legends Park, with Maple second baseman Gerard Leeder named player of the game. The Maple winning streak has now reached 4 games.
Chipping in for Maple was first baseman Iván Zavala. He stroked a 3-run home run in the bottom of the first. For the game, Zavala was 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.
