The Manhattan Beach Patriots downed the New York Mafia, 9-5, at Don Corleone Park. Baskoro Pamungkas led the way, going 3-for-5 for Manhattan Beach. Reliever Amirtharaj Nagaraja picked up the win. His record improves to 5-1. Yoson Matsushita took the loss. The Patriots improve their record to 48-44 with the win over New York.

One significant at-bat for Manhattan Beach came with the bases loaded in the top of the ninth. Patriots center fielder Mal Rivers drew a walk, driving in 1 run, which helped Manhattan Beach go on to win.

Pamungkas said afterward that he was glad to help his team win.
