Sasquatch Win, Hope to Turn Around Slow Start
The Seattle Sasquatch and starting pitcher Dan Lewis stifled the So Cal offense en route to a comfortable 8-2 win at Sick's Stadium. Lewis, the winner, moves to 1-0. He threw 8 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 1 walk. Even with the win, it has been a disastrous start to the year for the Sasquatch, who once had aspirations of returning to the playoffs but now find themselves mired in last place at 2-8.

With the bases empty and no one out in the bottom of the fourth inning, third baseman Kazuyoshi Takahashi delivered big for the Sasquatch. Seattle was leading 2-1 when he belted a solo home run.

"We'll keep our chins up and get ready for the next game," said losing manager Munenori Sato.
