Grays Fall to Prowlers, 8-4
|
It was a fun time at Memorial Circle Park, where the Georgia Grays and Oklahoma City Prowlers tangled.
The Georgia Grays got a superb performance from second baseman Salvador Ramos. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Oklahoma City. The Prowlers won the game, 8-4. In spite of the loss, Ramos was named the player of the game. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs. Benjamin Bertrand got the win, improving to 4-4. He worked 6 innings, giving up 3 runs on 6 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 1.
Joe Osler's at-bat in the bottom of the third inning was a big one for Oklahoma City. Coming to bat with one out, the bases loaded and Oklahoma City leading 1-0, the center fielder hit a sacrifice fly.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Osler said.
The Prowlers raised their record to 44-47.
