Codebreakers Stumble, Lose to Stogies
Havana Stogies starter Terry Hill had all his pitches working at Central Park Downtown Stadium. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 8-2 Havana win over the Columbus Codebreakers. The winning pitcher was Hill, now 8-2. He tossed 7.1 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 0 and fanning 8. Earning his 8th save of the year was Abdul Razzaq Kharoti.

Havana right fielder Yasushi Kato contributed to the cause with a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth. For the game, Kato went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"It all depends on which version of our team shows up," said Hill. "When we put it all together, I think we're a great team."

Havana now sits at 53-38, while Columbus falls to 50-38.
