Sasquatch Pick Up 7-4 Win
|
The Seattle Sasquatch picked up a win at Sick's Stadium, knocking off the Duke City Danger, 7-4. Starting pitcher Jun Nakayama, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The 4th-place Sasquatch raised their record to 43-47.
Going deep for Seattle was Jesús Lópes. The right fielder had a 2-run home run in the bottom of the first for the Sasquatch. It put his team ahead, 2-0, and sent them on to victory. For the game, Lópes was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"I liked his command," said Seattle manager Carl Best. "Jun was throwing strikes."
