The Seattle Sasquatch overcame a good performance by Cabo San Lucas shortstop Haruki Yoshino to knock off Cabo San Lucas, 6-5, at Field de Los Layendas. Yoshino went 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Seattle is now 42-47.

This game was not decided until Bill Nelson came to bat in the top of the ninth. With runners on 1st and 3rd and one out, the Seattle left fielder hit a sacrifice fly. The Sasquatch took the lead, 6-5.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Seattle manager Carl Best.
