Gamblers Stumble, Lose to Earthquakes
|
San Francisco played host to Las Vegas at the friendly confines of Golden Gate Park.
The San Francisco Earthquakes coasted to a win over the Las Vegas Gamblers, 10-2. Joaquín Jaramillo had a good day at the plate for San Francisco. He went 3-5 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 5 runs. San Francisco leads the Thurman Munson League Billy Martin Division by 3 games.
Jaramillo contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With the bases loaded, he hit a bases-clearing double. It was one of the critical at-bats that helped San Francisco get the win.
Las Vegas manager Jesús Alfaro called the blowout loss "ugly."
