Marauders Cut Down Danger, 5-1
|
Maple rode a good effort from starter Dylan Butlin to beat the Duke City Danger at The Danger Zone. The final score was 5-1. The Marauders improve their record to 46-41 with the win over Duke City.
A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 3rd and two out in the top of the third inning. That's when right fielder Terry Pulh Jr., who was drafted in the three round of the 2021 draft, hit a run-scoring single. The Marauders went on to win.
"It feels good to get this one," Pulh Jr. told the Maple Gazette.
