Bombers Need Extra Frames to Get Past Hops
The South Carolina Bombers and San Diego Hops put on quite a show at The Brew Stade.

The South Carolina Bombers downed the San Diego Hops, 8-7, at The Brew Stade. The Bombers were led by Shannon Craft, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The winner was South Carolina reliever Anupradana Agarkar, now 3-3. The loser was José Ramos. Yuan Mak got the save, his 2nd in 4 chances.

Late-game drama came in the top of the 11th inning. With no one out and the bases empty, the batter, Fernando Castillo, hit a single. It helped South Carolina seize the win.

In postgame remarks, Castillo simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
