Ricciardi goes 4-for-4 to Pull Beavers to .500
|
A 3-RBI performance from second baseman Luis Ricciardi led the Portland Beavers to a 12-6 win over the Minnesota Berserkers. Daryl Harrison earned the win to go to 5-4. He allowed 6 earned runs on 10 hits, with no walks and 3 strikeouts. Félix Reina earned his 1st save in 2 chances.
Anuvaha Tasha, who is tied for 6th in the TML in RBI with 63, aided the Portland cause with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the third baseman went 1-3 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2.
"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Ryan Blandford said.
With the win, Portland has a record of 44-44. Minnesota falls to 36-51.
