Portland right-hander Clayton O'Neil helped his team edge Quebec by the score of 2-1. O'Neil kept the opposing lineup in check. O'Neil went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 11 hits, walked 1, and struck out 5. His record improves to 2-0. Losses have been rare for the Armada, who are now 7-2.
Vihaan Vedant was 1 for 2 with a double, while adding 2 RBI for Portland. The 27-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Jordan Taylor. It was his 8th RBI of the season.
