Murphy Slugs Sasquatch to 6-2 Win
|
The Seattle Sasquatch stymied the South Carolina Bombers, 6-2, at Sick's Stadium. Baden Murphy, who had a good day at the plate, was named player of the game. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for Seattle. Seattle now owns a record of 40-46.
One important at-bat for Seattle came with one out in the bottom of the fourth inning. With a runner on 1st, Murphy hit a 2-run home run, which contributed to the Sasquatch win.
"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Murphy.
