The Duke City Danger picked up a win at The Royal Court at Jersey Yards, knocking off the Jersey Jesters, 3-2. On the mound for Duke City was left-hander Ángel Ruíz, who played a pivotal role in the win. The Danger now have a mark of 51-36.
Runs were scarce in this one. So, Bill McIntyre's at-bat in the top of the 12th was vitally important. With one out, the Duke City left fielder hit a solo home run, to give his team a 3-2 lead.
"This game tested our mettle," said Ruíz.
