Gallegos, Codebreakers Get 3-2 Win
|
Columbus Codebreakers starter José Gallegos turned in a sterling performance against the Portland Beavers, leading his team to a slim 3-2 win. Pat Ashe earned his 2nd save in 3 chances. The losses continue to add up for Portland, which has now fallen 8 times in a row.
Gallegos scattered 3 hits over 7 innings for the Codebreakers. With the win, Gallegos moves to 5-9 on the year with 99 strikeouts.
"I'm proud of the way our guys played today to come out with this win," Gallegos told the Columbus News.
