The San Francisco Earthquakes and Cabo San Lucas Toreros obliged those fans who came to Golden Gate Park looking for a good time.

Juan López added some punch to the San Francisco offense, helping them outmuscle the Cabo San Lucas Toreros, 8-7. In the game, López, who is on pace for 214 hits this season, was 2 for 4 with a home run and a triple. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Jonathan Martin recorded the save for San Francisco, his 22nd of the season.

Had López not come through in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have changed. Instead, with two down, López hit a 2-run home run. The Earthquakes never looked back after taking the 7-6 lead.
