The Columbus Codebreakers went down to defeat to Donkal Ubriani and his Minnesota teammates. The final score was 6-2 in favor of the Berserkers. Ubriani, the winner, moves to 3-3. He threw 5.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 7 and giving up 1 walk.
With runners on 2nd and 3rd and one out in the top of the second inning, center fielder Raúl Noriega delivered big for the Berserkers. Minnesota was leading 1-0 when he belted a 3-run home run.
"Good win for us," said Noriega. "We'll strap it on and go after the next one."
Minnesota is now 34-49.
