Hitmen Lose to Sasquatch, 4-1

It might have been a rain-shorted game, but the hometown crowd didn't seem to mind.
Benefiting from Francisco Valdéz's productive game, the Seattle Sasquatch downed the Chicago Hitmen, 4-1. Valdéz went 3 for 3 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 times for the Sasquatch. Seattle, now 38-44, holds 5th place in the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division.
The Sasquatch ran into trouble in the top of the fourth. The score was 2-1, Seattle, with one out. Chicago, with runners on 1st and 2nd, had Javier Ortíz at the plate. With a base hit, he could have changed the complexion of the game. Instead, he hit into a double play and the Sasquatch went on to win.
