The Minnesota Berserkers got a good effort from starter Manuel Crespo in defeating the Columbus Codebreakers at Central Park Downtown Stadium. The final score was 4-2. Ti-an Dan got credit for the save for Minnesota. It was his 10th of the year. Today's win puts Minnesota at 33-49, while Columbus falls to 45-34.
Roger Perry helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a 2-run single to give Minnesota a 2-0 lead.
"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Crespo said.
