Miner Handcuffs Marauders, Stogies Seize 2-1 Advantage in ABL World Series
The Havana Stogies got an exceptional performance from starter Peter Miner, who silenced the Maple offense en route to a 12-0 shutout win in Game 3 of the ABL World Series today. The Marauders could never get a bead on the left-handed Miner, who threw 9 innings of shutout ball to earn player of the game honors. The Stogies now hold a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-7 series.

Miner gave Havana a solid start. The left-hander allowed no runs on 5 hits over 9 innings.

"I thought we played a nice game," Miner told the Havana Gazette. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."

Game 4 is set to be played on Tuesday, November 7th, 2028 at The Humidor. Slated to start are Yasuhiko Ito for the Marauders and Terry Hill for the Stogies.
