Riverside Breaks Through for First Win in Double A World Series; Now Trails 2-1
The Riverside Red Bulls defeated the Rock River Rats, 8-3 in Game 3 of the Double A World Series today. Earning player of the game honors was designated hitter Jesús Solís, who went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The win narrows Riverside's deficit in the series to 2-1.

In the top of the sixth, with Riverside leading 2-1, Ken Prince hit a fastball from Kichibei Endo for a 2-run double, giving the Red Bulls the lead, 4-1.

"It's a big deal," Prince said of the win. "If we had gone to 0-3, we're pretty much out of it."

The next game is set to be played on Saturday, October 14th, 2028 at The Rat Hole. Slated to start are Julian Fanner for the Red Bulls and Josuke Fujihara for the Rats.
