Rats Win to Extend Series Lead to 2-0
Riding the 3-hit performance of catcher Harley Ware, the Rock River Rats got a road win against the Riverside Red Bulls, 14-8, in Game 2 of the Double A World Series today. Ware went 3 for 6 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Rats, who now lead the best-of-7 series 2-0.

Had it not been for Jurg Mis'kov, the results might have been different. In the top of the eighth inning, when the Rats were trailing 8-7, Mis'kov hit a 2-run home run for Rock River, giving his team the lead.

"We were having a lot more fun that I would have expected for a playoff game," [personname l] told the Rock River Bulletin.

Game 3 is set to be played on Friday, October 13th, 2028 at The Rat Hole. Slated to start are Chuk-yan Chio for Riverside and Josuke Fujihara for Rock River.
