Blazers Knock Off Georgia at Celestrial Fields at Hermann Park

The Bloomington Blazers beat the Georgia Grays, 9-3, at Celestrial Fields at Hermann Park. The win was largely due to the efforts of second baseman Tom Hanson, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Abhijnana Ramamani finished to wrap up his 1st save. The Blazers raised their record to 29-50.
Bo Bing had a chance to do some damage in the top of the eighth. With Georgia trailing 6-2, Georgia had the bases loaded. Bing hit into a double play. But it was not enough. Georgia would not finish the comeback.
