Danger Even With Gamblers After Extra-Innings Win
The Duke City Danger got a strong game from starter Ángel Ruíz, but it was some clutch hitting that ultimately delivered the win.

The Danger took the 4-2 win over the Las Vegas Gamblers in Game 2 of the Divisional Round in a 10th inning walk-off today. The win capped off a fine outing for the left-handed Ruíz, who was named player of the game. Ruíz threw 8 innings of 7-hit ball in the win, which brought the Danger into a 1-1 tie in the best-of-7 series.

Duke City center fielder Anthony Cadenhead had a game-changing at-bat in the bottom of the tenth. On a curveball from Bernalldo Rocchi, he launched a 2-run home run. It gave Duke City a 4-2 lead.

"Extras are exciting for the fans, but they are tough for the visitors because every time they're at the plate, they can end it with one swing," said Gamblers manager Jesús Alfaro.

The next game is set to be played on Tuesday, October 10th, 2028 at The Ballpark at Potomac Yard . The scheduled starters for the game are Walt Lawson for Duke City and Ze-dong Zhang for Las Vegas.
