The Havana Stogies got a complete game effort from starter Peter Miner to move into a 1-1 tie with the Brooklyn Black Knights in the best-of-7 Divisional Championship.

The Havana left-hander went the distance at The Humidor, cooling off the Brooklyn Black Knights and striking out 6 to help Havana take the 1-0 win that knotted the series.

Miner allowed no runs over 9 innings. He also racked up 6 strikeouts.

"Teams don't get here by being incompetent, so I really wasn't expecting this," Miner said. "I just kept throwing and they kept missing."

The next game is set to be played on Thursday, October 19th, 2028 at Blue Ivy Stadium. The scheduled starters for the game are Terry Hill for the Stogies and Wilson Deleón for the Black Knights.
