Knights Win, Move to Within 1 Game of Single A World Series
The Sioux City Knights are one game away from a sweep of the Single A League Championship after stifling the Westside Road Warriors by a score of 5-0 at Knights Field today. Knights right-hander Pedre Pedrogo was named player of the game after a strong outing in which he threw 5 innings of shutout ball. Sioux City now holds a 3-0 advantage in the best-of-7 series.

Sam Kramer played a key role in the win. The Sioux City right fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the bottom of the eighth. For the game, Kramer was 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3.

"I got everyone together and told them they did great today," Sioux City manager Leland Ray told BNN reporters after the game. "But I warned them that even if we make it out of the Single A League Championship, it's only going to get harder."

Game 4 is scheduled for Wednesday, October 4th, 2028 at Knights Field. The scheduled starters for the game are Daryl Walder for the Road Warriors and Charlie Bennett for the Knights.
