The Jersey Jesters got a magnificent performance from pitcher Daryl Wyles, who stifled the San Francisco offense en route to a 3-1 Jesters win at The Royal Court at Jersey Yards. The Jesters go to 46-33, putting them first in the Thurman Munson League Billy Martin Division.
Wyles was in the zone all game. He frustrated San Francisco hitters while giving the Jesters 8 innings of quality work. Wyles threw 87 pitches, allowing 2 hits and getting 3 punchouts.
"Good pitching, clutch hitting," said Jersey skipper Allen Clifton. "I can't complain."
